march 2015 update.

what’s going on in Kazakhstan, with The Greatest Exchange, and in these girls’ lives

It truly is humbling to sit back and see how people’s time, talent, resources and personalities intertwined to accomplish something greater than ourselves.

Aigul, the student from KZ who was in Jacksonville last summer, is excited to return this summer and see her friends and family.

Bereke is at a very sweet place in her process.  Everything about her summer is viewed as a “gift” and she is truly overwhelmed and excited every step of the way.

Donna is starting to get excited about meeting everyone as well.  She is connecting people here with her summer plans, and is looking forward to getting to know everyone on a deeper level.

Aika will be working at Serenata Beach Club, and living at Jacksonville Beach.  Skype sessions with her are frequent as the paperwork has been a bit more difficult to obtain, but she is now cleared and can not wait to arrive in America in two months!

Aigul, Donna, and Bereke’s paperwork been delivered to Kazakhstan, and they will be doing their embassy interviews in the month of April.  Aika’s paperwork is on it’s way, and her interview will be in the next 4-6 weeks.

We are still looking for financial donations to cover the remainder of the costs for this summer.  100% of all gifts will be used to cover the girls’ costs for the entire summer, and all donations are tax-deductible. To donate, you can click here or you can mail a check to: 3780 Burnt Pine Drive, Jacksonville FL 32224.Thank you, thank you, thank you for being a part of what I’m sure will be amazing stories.  Looking forward to what is in store, and there’s no doubt that it’s going to be better than we can anticipate.
